Global Sales for week 1 of starhawk 108,168 copies sold Breaks down as follows
Usa 69,865
japan 12,750
europe 9,918
uk 3,226
france 1,718
rest of the world makes up the rest of the copies sold.
Are you impressed with sales, dissappointed, please let us know. Im happy with the total wished it reached 200,000 but better than my 83,000 total i predicted.
Starhawk is fun and addicting, multiplayer is a rush, try it if you have not already.

I would've wanted more but hopefully this will get future titles a little more recognition.
Sony didn't do the best job in advertising this game, and I don't understand why.

dissapointing, finally a game comes around with a fresh look on multiplayer and a PS exclusive no less, yet sony couldnt lift a finger on advertizing it. While Diablo III has infested about 98% of the damn internet and its just a crappy version of Diablo II.

I'm pretty sure the only sony exclusive games that I ever see good advertising for are God of War games.

I bet when some mini-Starhawk for the PS Vita which I couldn't care less about gets released, they'll be shoving the ads down my throat.

interesting, do you have a link to your source?

Once word of mouth spread that you basically spawned. . .and died (be it cluster bomb. . .rocket jet pack. . .or tank) due to the game design (in TDM alone) allowing the enemy to sit in your base . . .the games sales were practically doomed.
Those of us that bought it, and see its potential will wait for a patch - but not all consumers are fans like us. They hear the horrific state of the game and speak with their wallet.
Which is a good thing really - as it shows the dev what is acceptable.

Quite disappointing, but not a surprise when not a single penny was invested in advertising, except for maybe the youtube trailer..
If it wasn't for the WH community, this game wouldn't have sold a single copy.

Thoses sales are totally in line with the quality of the product and the price point at 60 dollars. This gen needs to understand one thing and one thing very soon. PRICE YOUR QUALITY PRODUCT FOR THE MASSES AND IT WILL SELL.
Nobody wanted the lame single player and we didn't want to buy a multi only game for 60 bucks. I can hardly fathom how people in QA still have their jobs. Well, either them or the devs. I don't know what this game was made for but I don't think 100k is going to please anyone though I am sure they all have their paychecks and will make another game. We'll see what it can do when it gets down to 30 dollar level with more maps and a couple patches. It is the only chance they have for Starhawk to be decent. After 6 months your game is usually doomed these days. Heck, most games don't make it much past 3 months. Look at Resistance 3 lol wtf plays that garbage?
