I didn't think it looked bad, just a bad purchse for me, becuase I tire of games like that quickly, I only bought it cause my friend hyped it up.

It was awful looking imo. The trees were very very mediocre. And it was blurry and jaggier than hell. It's so obvious this gen was done two years ago for anybody but the best Sony devs. And even they cannot barely keep up. PCs have been pushing 4x these graphics easily for over 5 years now.
The simple matter is cost. Consoles cost way too much and they are 8 year old tech. Only hardcores, fools and kids pay 60 bucks for games on consoles.
I loved SSX Blur. I wasn't going to pay 60 or anything really that looked **bleep** near the same.
Put SSX on PC and make it for the PS4 and I will be in line.

Is DC Universe Online over there too? I loved the game got tired of paying to playalso in my pile is SSX, gonna sell it back.
Never bought DC Universe Online but YES, SSX is now in that pile along with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon and the god awful Need for Speed: The Run (personally the worst online experience ever in this generation of games. Starhawk, as it is currently, makes the top three for unbalanced servers and crashes).
SSX's creators forgot that SSX was about arcade fun game play, not survival of the fittest on some unforgiving mountain top. Also good at needing you to "pay to play" for most online races if you hoped to finish well.
Ace Combat just felt wrong and again missed the best parts of the original series, hum, sounds like some other game I just bought...
Here's an example how bad racing online was for NFS:The Run most of the time and nearly a year later no patch. Add to that, painfully long load times just to have the game crash every other time. EA still owes me $60 for this garbage.
The cake is a lie... so are betas, demos and pre-order hype.

There is tons of hate for the new Ghost Recon as well, but I still like it. Its the same for Starhawk, tons of hate on the boards for it. Yet both games, i have never heard anyone ever giving the game hate online while playing.
I have never been disconnect once while playing Starhawk, but people make it seem like it happens nearly every time.

Yes for some it does sadly, some cannot even connect consistently let alone crash often. I am not as lucky as you or my buddy IRRES but it doesn't happen every play session so I am thankful for that.![]()
And I hear the same things about the new Ghost Recon, but Pain_Elemental really likes it and he is not only a clanmate but a friend and I trust his judgement so I will have to check it out one of these days.![]()
