To everyone competing in the tournament: I am one of the "CoD noobs" everyone has been talking about. I am posting this to clear up some rumors. There is a rumor floating around that I kick everyone from my games to get free wins. This rumor started a few days ago when I hosted a game, then lagged out of the game, the host migrated, then I reconnected to the Starhawk servers, and joined my game back. Whoever the host migrated to started kicking ******* and a couple others, however the server still had my psn(eWedge) as the title, so they thought it was me. After messaging back and forth with *******, I informed him what was happening, he understood, and we are on each others friends list and I thought we were cool. Idk if it was him or one of the other guys that I wasnt able to talk to that started the rumor. I do not boot people for wins or for any reason really. The only time I have booted someone is when they were sending me hatemail messages. There is several people on the top of the leaderboard who have played in my servers for extended periods of time with no booting, so ask them, whether they will admit and vouche for me who knows, but the truth is I dont boot for wins.
For those who hate me because Im from CoD: Yes I have competed in MLG CoD for years, and I will admit that I got Starhawk for the tournament. I see nothing wrong with this, thats what I do. After I quit travelling to MLG events I began game hopping to compete in various tournaments on Socom 4, Resistance 3, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, and now Im on Starhawk. In fact, most of the time when companies hold large tournaments like this it is to promote thier games and bring in new players to the community. This should be a good thing for the community, and even though I just got it for the tournament, I do think the game is a lot of fun to play, and I do respect the long term Warhawk/Starhawk players. So if you want to hate me because Im from CoD then thats your choice, but I must say of all the games jumped on to compete listed above, the Starhawk community has by far treated me the worst so far.
For those who keep spamming me hatemail that I must be boosting and that MLG is going to ban me for sure...can we grow up? Im not going to list any names but its getting old. I have not boosted or cheated in this tournament in any way, shape, or form. I have been a member of MLG going on about 4 or 5 years now, have to a MLG events for multiple games, and have played about a billion online tournaments. In that time I have never cheated, been banned, or even been accused of cheating. Also just a side note, MLG doesnt just ban people off of rumors, I know yall think that if you complain about us enough we will get banned, but sorry thats not how it works. I have to actually boost to get banned for boosting haha, and again, I DONT BOOST! Judging by my past gaming experience, it should be no suprise that I can get wins off of casual public match players For CoD XP qualification I went 285 wins and 0 losses in domination in 46 straight hours. If I can do that, I think i can put up 200 wins in a week on this game.
To **********: You have sent me more hatemail than anyone, last night I was on the other team and beat you 3 out of 4 games, and you have booted me out of your server 5 seconds before I was about to get a wins twice now.
I posted this to honestly explain everything, and to stop the hatemail. Whether you believe me or not is up to you. I would really like to friends with all of you in the competitive Starhawk community, so as of right now Im putting in fresh start for anyone who has sent me hatemail and such lately, if you want to be cool then we are cool, if not that is your choice. I also know there is a couple other CoD guys in this tournament. I would like to say that they are probably playing fair and are chill guys too if you give them a chance. I can not say for sure because none of us are a Starhawk team or anything, and I came to this game on my own to compete, however I have played with them every once in a while on Starhawk and CoD and they are really chill guys from what I can tell. Again hopefully this will be a fresh start with everyone who hates me because of the rumors, and good luck to everyone participating in the tournament!
