Is RottenAvacado the PSN ID you use while playing Starhawk? We may be able to glean something about that serverside. If not we have added some more specific error #'s into the upcoming patch so we can narrow down errors like that.

LBI_Ron, please I beg you try and talk to the team about the slate screen bug, literally cannot play this game anymore due to it being blanK EVERYTIME I try to go into multiplayer. The ONLY thing I can do now is go to continue game, that's it. Please this game is sooooo fun.

Even with the patch I still cannot hear anyone and I still am getting disconnected from servers midgame. Voice chat works when I go to Homeworld, but not anywhere else. I generally have no problems joining a match, but I usually end up getting disconnected from the servers. I have no problems like this with any other game, and heck, I didn't have problems like this in the beta. Can you please explain what's going on? Are you going to release a patch that will fix this in the near future? I really enjoy this game and it's a shame that it's as buggy as it is.

After trying every possible way of getting connected I am still having problems. But here is some extra info.
* I can connect on a very rare occation to another server but its about once a week
* I can about 50% of the times create a server and people can connect to that so that is how I was getting my online gameing fix although you can't be sure people will join your server
* When I try to connect to a game now (post-patch) I get Failed to connect (#4 00000008 1 358)
* No amount of messing with my router/DMZ/Port forwarding seems to make any difference to if I connect or cannot connect.
* I've tried to create one game since patch and I got Failed to connect (#4 00000008 1 358)

I'm the same as Smokeyrosco above. I still can't connect for shit. I sat for some time doing the whole port forwarding thing. Yes it took me time, I'm not completely technically above society. I got the port forwarding correct and managed to connect after five attempts. I just tried five times again this morning but don't have the patience to wait. Please stay at it. It's such a shame to me that I cannot play this game. I am a huge warhawk fan and loved being able to play during the entire BETA with no problem and I've confused why now.

I bought the game yesterday and have yet to get into a multiplayer game. My router, Asus RT-N56U, is running the latest firmware (22.214.171.124f) and has my PS3 in the DMZ. I tried port forwarding (when it was not in the DMZ) and that did not work either. I am stuck at settings checklist 3 since I can even see games that are available. I just keep getting "Failed to connect. (#4 00000008 1 358)" over and over again. It happens whether I am quick joining, trying to join from a list, or trying to create a game.
I doubt that the problem is my router, since it is only a few months old and works flawlessly for all other uses. I do not have this issue with ANY other game and can play a number of online games on my PS3, Xbox 360, and my pc with no problems at all. This is definitely a Starhawk issue.
I understand there was a patch that addressed this issue, did that solve connection issues for anyone? Like Apoc47, I am a huge warhawk fan and really want to be able to play Starhawk online. Please resolve this issue.
