I won't suggest what you do I'm sure you are a capable human being of making up your own mind. But if you are considering of buying it again... something must be bringning you back to it? Depending on why you currently don't have it anymore you will either be see the same game you left for the most part, or enjoy the new dlc... the grizzly is wicked fun!

If you are a more ground oriented player or plan on using a lot of the new free (I saw my clanmate tell you not to buy maps, the maps are free so dont worry) small maps then the pod launcher may be worth the 5 bucks, if not then don't bother with it.
The Grizzly you should buy, its pretty fun and powerful. You dont have to buy the DLC to use a grizzly on the battlefield or the pod launcher if someone else builds them for you but you can't build either item without the DLC.
The Co-Op multiplayer is called prospector. Its a wave style co-op vs the computer. The games for co-op now show up publicly on the server list unlike before.
Check out the stickied threads and announcements area, the community is definately active

Yeah it was being used with great efficiency in that small server last night. A few flags got out as a result of the sneaky drop and run out the back way with the flag moves.
On the bigger maps it doesn't do much for me but on those small maps its awesome...oh and yeah its pointless in DM other than for a good chuckle
