I just finished the single player campaign abd am interested in buying the multiplayer, but is it worth the 20 dollars?

like, is it as fun as it looks, and are there enough people playing for it to be enjoyable?

Definitely worth $20, that's pretty much a steal. And yes, many people play (and growing).

Yup!

Just don't say that you weren't warned about how brutally hard the multiplayer is for the first few months.  You are going to die... a LOT.  Eventually, your StarHawk reflexes will develop and then you'll still die alot (but you'll kill a lot too).

Not that hard really (minus the flight), people overblow how "hard" it is. Pretty chill game overall.

They say hard, what they mean is you will die many times from enemies flying overhead that you never see.

They fly by and drop bombs on you then fly away to the safety of the clouds.

There are ways to avoid a lot of this, but it will take you months to figure them out.

This forum can help you turn that timeframe into a few weeks if you let it.

The easy answer is learn to fly early on and you be the **bleep**, but the real answer is learn to play all aspects of this game, and most assurably die hundreds of times learning.

The game is great, especially with the last update, but be warned lots of these guys online know every little exploit and OP weapon and you do not.  

My motto is "Expect the worst, and you will never be dissapointed"  This has never let me down.

Embrace death, throw KDR to the wind and this can be your favorite game of all time.

Oh and add me if you want someone to train with a bit, I'm a ground guy but can show you some basic flight stuff.

I've played it. Its on par with that. Best thing to do is to sit in with someone and for them to show you what you need to know. Some can read tips and get it but most need hands on. Add me and I'll be happy to help you cut that learning curve down. Philly said it right..... you're going to get your **bleep** handed to you at first but once you get your strategy down its fun as hell.
