The Stone That Killed Goliath
When sneaking up on a tank spawn an auto turret on its back, its spawning is almost impossible to notice yet it still kills the tznker.

I JUST learned this really cool trick, credit goes to Hoosyoordaddy.
Hoverturret
Step 1: Make a wall.
Step 2: Drop a turret on top.
Step 3: Before the turret lands, reclaim the wall for instant hovering turret.

You can also change to a gate and it will hover there, this is a glitch though.
And you can't get rid of it, unless an enemy destroys it. Meaning once you do it, you cannot place a new wall under it. Or if you made it a gate, and the gate was destroyed, you can't build anything there, until the hovering turret is gone.

The I.B.D.B. (Improvised Base Destroying Bomb)
If you need to take out those soft but necessary structures but you can't even find time to knife it? Mine up a sidewinder, drive into the offending structure, frag it, and return to destroying other stuff. Very handy against clustered buildings, as well as saving your Grinder some of that precious ammo.
Vehicle Charges
Mine vehicles in the enemy base, self-explanatory. One sneaky trick to hide the mines is to place them where a spawned vehicles should go, then use hacker to spawn a vehicle, hiding the mines.
Preventative Measures
If possible, get a sniper rifle and take out the proxy mines by the enemy flag, making a flag runner's life easier as well as maybe even netting a kill.
Wall Traps
Sidewinders can't help but squeeze past your walls, so proxy the sides of it. In classic beta, if the guy(s) with the razorbacks are being predictable, place a wall in their favored route, then place multiple autoturrets BEHIND the wall, in addition to the one on top. If the razorback rams the wall, the turrets will tear it to pieces when the wall comes down.
Tankproof Wall
Make a formation in a preset 2 walls wide. Form a gate, flanked by 2 beam turrets, then just barely enveloped by a shield. Get a human defender to stop bruisers, and the wall is inpenetrable for only 4 buildings (2 people can combine their rift to put this up, else it will be hard to set up.

-place a BT in the middle of nowhere and wait for a hawk or tank to focus their firepower on it. Then fire RL directly at them.
