I remember a control panel in the Mustafar level of SWBF2 that collapsed a bridge when it was destroyed, and repairing it raised it out of the lava. People have wanted choke points in a future map, and if another one is put in, I think maybe having a sort of BnB choke point would be interesting. The bridge would not be a normal building, but there would be a control panel at either side of the would-be bridge in the map, and the bridge would come down after spending 12 rift. Since this thing will take the full force of artillery, clusters, tank cannons, torpedoes, grenades, and sabotuers trying to drop everyone in the drink, it's health should be at least 10x the health of a bunker, maybe even 15x so it can hold up in big battles. Also, if you don't feel safe crossing a ricketty, damaged bridge, you can just pay for a new one, or just use it as a desperately expensive way to clear the bridge for your team.

How I would see them doing it is adding a level with gaps and bringing in a drawbridge type of thing that only lowers for friendlies, much like the Bunker door. Granted, I doubt it's something that's going to happen, but it's an interesting idea.

This is a great Idea, and would be great for that lava map.
I remember that level from SWBF2. That bridge was very interesting to use, and added to the game.

It's nice to read a thread that's productive, and creative, instead of another "Ground is doomed", "1.03 ruins everything", "CTF sucks now", etc...
