The Spider has the same armor as the puma (aka razorback) and it can rarely run any one over, because it's legs are like stilts.
The Spider has a easy to kill weakness. It's weakness is when it's using it's melee attack, the swipe. If you blowup it's other front leg it will fall and explode.
What I meant was on maps like Echo, they would sit up on the cliffs and rain fire on the opposing team.

This is inspired by Arron's Iron Condor and the dropship of WH. This is a lot, even in the short description, so bear with me.
Name: Albatross
Overview: A Voltron-like titan about 50% bigger than the hawk. It has a flight mode that is like a hawk, but bulkier and hovers rather than jets, and a mech mode to match. Intended to be a flying transport and a super-heavy siege engine.
Location: Launch Pad (if there are building upgrades in the future, this will be a requirement)
Rift: 6 each
Speed: Slightly slower than the Razorback in flight, mech speed comparable to the hawk mech.
Armor: Pretty darn tough, 3 homing missiles worth of damage is needed to bring it down. The cockpit is covered even in mech mode. People might want to save their torpedo for this thing.
Crew: 1 pilot and 6 passengers that each can man a weapon.
Armament: 1 nose-mounted cannon for the pilot (only available in mech mode, can compare to a single-shot tank cannon pre-patch), 2 passenger-controlled MGs (downward facing in flight, one on each arm in mech mode), 4 passenger-controlled M.A.W. rocket turrets (all on the back in flight mode, two on the back and two facing forward mounted on the shoulders in mech mode).
Additional Tools: Chaff Launcher (flight mode only), Tractor Beam (can pick up a vehicle)
I made a bigger post that covers absolutely every detail imaginable about the vehicle, as well as justifications for them. If you want this put in, comment both here and on the other thread, you can find it with this link below:

Name: "Armadillo" Body Armor
Overview: Body armor that protects troop, absorbing damage in his place before breaking. The vest has the same health as a troop, effectivly doubling the health of its wearer. The armor does not fix on its own, but a troop can fix someone else's if it hasn't broken yet. The armor cannot be worn in addition to a vulture pack nor a W.A.S. (listed below).
Location: Upgraded Vulture Station
Rift: 3 for upgrade (reversable), 2 for pack, free pack given at each upgrade.
Name: Weapon Autoloading System (W.A.S.)
Overview: A device worn on the back that is connected to and automatically feeds weapons as they empty, allowing almost continuous fire of most weapons.
Location: Upgraded Vulture Station
Rift: 3 for upgrade (reversable), 2 for pack, free pack given at each upgrade
(Note to LBI: For the coding of the W.A.S., I think that an automatic reload timer should be set whenever a weapon is not full, and when the timer expires it triggers the reload function without using any reload animations or command overrides. The manual reload and empty mag autoload should be disabled while this thing is equipped, and a Boolean check for the W.A.S being equipped equal to false should be placed on those functions to suppress them only when the device is on.)

Name: Pillbox
Overview: An additional Wall alternative that takes away the autoturret slot but puts in a 1-way shooting window, like the one in the bunker.
Rift: Free upgrade (reversable)
09-01-2012 01:05 PM
Name: Missile Turret
Overview: Additional beam turret variant which fires two lock-on homer-missiles. The missile turret can lock on to any vehicle at the rate of a homing missile, but cannot be dumbfired. The acquisition range against air vehicles compares to a homing missile, but only half that against ground vehicles. The reload time is 3 seconds. The turret is not automated, so it must be manned to operate.
Rift: Comparable costs to the Flak Turret upgrades (and like it, are reversable).
09-01-2012 01:17 PM
Name: Rift Extractor
Overview: An economy building which pumps rift into nearby rift barrels over 20 seconds, which give out a full bar of rift when fully filled.
Rift: 4
Size: 25% bigger than an outpost.
Armor: Comparable to a wall.
09-01-2012 03:11 PM
Name: Hedgehog
Overview: A Razorback variant that supports a flak turret rather than an MG.
Location: Garage
Rift:4
Crew: Driver, rear gunner, shotgun passenger.
Speed: Comparable to Razorback.
Armor: Comparable to Razorback.
Armament: Rear-mounted flak turret.
Name: Repairback
Overview: A Razorback variant that supports an A.R.M. rather than an MG.
Rift: 4
The rest is a repeat.
