Still having a segfault on my SGS, on my Thrive there's an issue with the "busy" indicator constantly popping up and making selections nearly impossible.

On the iPod touch, it works fine, though uses a lot of data (the device gets hot to the touch).

Who do I send the segfault logs to?  Also the SSL encryption on the data flow is a bummer, I wanted to get stats sooner.

My advice, little less on the graphics, more on the function.  And get away from so much native code on Android, it only causes problems in my experience.

HSJ, when will the Starhawk stats feed be available for the public to use?

by Uncharted Territory Guardian_Bob on ‎06-14-2012 11:27 AM

Oh and I have a few suggestions:

Maps

Show me the possible maps and identify what buildings go where during a blitz load out

Show me the troop and hawk weapon pickups

Interactive – make this my mini map (Would be awesome, but crazy difficult I know)

Clans

I can’t read or add to the calendar.  Why can’t I at least see what’s scheduled?

Friends

Sending messages would be awesome, especially if they are using the app as well

Skills

Let me change skills while I’m playing from my tablet (I know crazy difficult as well)

Network

Needs work on Android – it claims I’m not connected then shows me data sometimes

So there's an app to see our stats on phones but we still can't see it on the official website?

Yup.  Shouldn't be too surprising, a website can be scraped and such.  LBI's going to release web based APIs (I'm told) that will allow people access; however, that requires much more testing and work then an app.

Got the app, loving it. It might not be as precise, but its like myhawk on the go for starhawk

Thank you!

I will install it in iPad!

Can I make a suggestions here?

- Windows Phone version

- Vita version

From Vita version, could be possible to change dual-shock for Vita?

Like the next Littlebigplanet Cross Controler DLC.

So we could use the Vita touchscreen to change perks, maps, etc, and continue to play with buttons.

If Lightbox could release something like that before other consoles, it could be a blast in news sites about games and technology.

I know its hard and take time, but you know... we are never happy

Again: thank you for this app, its amazing! Congratulations for the amazing job with this game!

Shush you.  I don't want to buy a Vita.  As for the Windows phone, that's not likely to happen.  (Windows -> Microsoft -> Xthingy).

I assume the Vita is a lot more work then an iOS or Android app.

by Uncharted Territory Trick_2092 on ‎06-14-2012 01:35 PM

I would really like a Vita app too.

Game integration spawned some other ideas.  I realize these may be difficult and would likely require a wifi connection; however, it would truly enhance game play.

  • Minimap - People have complained at the tiny mini-map.  If I could use my tablet to at least see spawnable locations and such, that would be awesome.  It doesn't have to show dots for other players, in fact I doubt that's possible.
  • Scoreboard - Show the scoreboard for the current game.  This would make it so I don't have to stop the entire game (hitting start is heavy handed).
  • Server Information - What's the next map/mode/etc.  What about the one after that?  Can I see the whole rotation?  Can I see the victory conditions and such?  That would be awesome.
  • Server Management - Kicking player/Reporting players.  The PS3 isn't really friendly to typing, why can't I use my tablet for reporting?  In addition management such as kicking people would be nice.  If I could change the entire server order/settings for the next round, well I'd probably pay money for that kind of control.
  • Enhanced Player Stats - While playing can I see someone's score over time in that round? (Updated upon their death of course.)  Talk about getting to know someone's play style.

I'm sure I'll have more.  This is in addition to the other set of items: http://community.us.playstation.com/community/games/shooter/starhawk/blog/2012/06/14/starhawk-uplink...

I think the whole dev team, and the rest of the brains behind this app and the whole game. They deserve much respect from the entire community. I understand it was a rough start, but yall pulled it off. I know there is a button, but Kudo's to all off you.
