why do fans riot after a team wins a title? why do they loot , turn over cars , throw bottles , start fires? i mean i get excited when one of my favorite teams wins but why do ppl act like idoits when there team wins?

cuz the government allows you to drink alcohol at sports venues, doesn't cut you off when they know you most probably drove tehre, and then arrest you for being drunk...go figure lol

kinda goes back to the taxes and parades discussion in the other thread. Fines and Tickets are also neccessary to keep cities afloat.

I never understand that either, that whole "mob mentality" sort of thing.

You would think that people would be happy their team won a title, maybe buy a homeless person a meal or help an old lady across the street or something.

If these people actually won something think what they would do. Your sports team wins, you get bragging rights for a year? It's not like they won the lottery but they make it seem that way. I completely understand partying and enjoying, which they should do.

partying yes, but flipping over cars lighting stuff on fire and throwing bottles around isnt' partying.

Whatever happened to personnel responsibility? Or is it just easier to blame others. The problem isn't alcohol, it's the PEOPLE that drink it. To go even farther, there's plenty of people that are overly intoxicated that DO NOT behave like an idiot, that DID NOT drive to the event, and DO NOT get arrested. Why? Because even when they're drunk off their asses, they still have respect for others and their property. Most of those idiots are naturally that way and would do the same **bleep** even if they were sober.

No offense to anyone, just stating fact.
