A PSP version...they made one in 07, yet not in 08
Luckily somebody made a roster update so I can still play last years title with this years rosters.
A career mode would be the coolest thing ever you start off creating a player, and you can pick the type of player you want to be, sniper, playmaker, bruiser, and whatever else they have on 08 then you do your attributes and you have a certain amout of attributes so you wouldnt be awesome right away and a certain amount of attributes in a catagory so if you were a bruiser your speed attribute would be limited and if you were a sniper your shot power and shot accuracy would be able to be pretty good. Then you would be able to pick your organization you would start your career with. Then after that you would play your teams preseason games to be hopefully on your Organiztions NHL roster at the starting of the season if you dont perform well you will start the season on your Organizations AHL team, then you would have play well in the AHL and be hopefully get called up to the NHL team.
Now I will talk about the gameplay of career mode. You would play as you player only from at a player perspective camera angle where you can still see the rest of the players well. and at the end of your shift it will sim to your next shift and update if there was a goal or penalty.
Thats all I got I hope you guys have a chance to read this because in my opinion this would be the coolest mode in ever in the game.
Playoff mode is an excellent idea. Sometimes friends want to get together for a day and face each other in playoff battles. No one wants to simulate through a season hoping there team makes it to the playoffs.
Fantasy Draft would be fun. Sydney Crosby playing for the Edmonton Oilers, Evgeni Malkin on the NY Rangers, Joe Thornton on the Chicago Blackhawks, and Alexander Ovechkin on the Detroit Red Wings. All the teams starting from stratch sounds like a fun way to mix things up.
The Winter Classic would be amazing. Imagine playing as the Penguins in their powder blue jerseys against the Sabres in an open air stadium on a snowy New Year's Day.
