Sunday Game Discussions, Week 5

71 replies 240 views Edited Oct 4, 2012

Week 5. I need to make my picks. Would it be out of the realm of possibility to go with the Rams against the Cardinals?

How's your team doing? Feel confident this week about their chances?

Nothing like a nice football game to sit back and enjoy on your birthday :smileyvery-happy:

Speaking of birthdays, my birthday always seems to be the point where the Eagles go into some slump and lose a couple games. Hopefully, they end this trend and beat Pittsburgh on Sunday.

I dont know what to make of either of these teams tonight and when the game is over I probably still wont know what to make of them.

Looking likely this year is Steven Jackson's last in St. Louis. Hoping he can turn it on, finish the season strong, get his 8th consecutive 1k yard rushing season & have a good chance of getting on a contender if he does bounce.

I really want the Rams to beat the Cardinals. They shouldn't be 4-0. They have neither a QB nor a RB. I just don't get it.

As always, it's up to the Rams offense to do SOMETHING. All of their points in last week's win were special teams including a 4th and goal fake FG in which the rookie punter threw a TD. Defense will hold, drape Finnegan + help on Fitz, d-line puts pressure, etc. Offense needs traction.

Jesus, Greg Zuerlein is going to break every kicking record ever.

Just booted a 53 yard FG that would've been gold from 63.

4/4 from 50+ this year (made from 58 & 60 last week alone).

Also, Jenkins made a beautiful play on a pass defense after getting burned. Love this new secondary (8 picks in the first 4 games).

With the way Arizona's offense looks, you have to wonder if that TD sealed the game

Ryan Williams just got destroyed, even worse than Quintin Mikell did earlier. Yikes.
