Alex Smith is out against the Bears tonight. My confidence in tonight's game just dropped significantly.

Aldon Smith completely obliterated the Bears' offensive line. It was amazing watching him knock down Webb and Carimi like it was nothing. And I still remember hearing people complain about the Niners passing up Gabbert for him.

If the the playoffs started today, the Colts and Broncos would play each other 1st round

While I'd love for the Colts to make the playoffs, I know they're going to get waxed by whoever they play, be it Denver, New England, or Baltimore, but I want it to happen for them to play Denver. I'd just love to see it. But if it fails, Broncos are in Indianapolis next year, so it'll happen sometime in 2013.

Though I realized recently that I don't want Peyton to win another Super Bowl.
