Re: Lakers fire Mike Brown

Ugh, it'd be awful if Phil became the head coach... AGAIN.

makes you wonder why he was hired in the first place.  my guess, he was the cheapest coach on the market and now they have a legit team to win a title, they gotta get a real coach.

mike brown is to coaching what lawrence frank is to coaching.  brown has just had more talent to win him games while he jumps up and down on the sidelines pretending like he's doing something.

I think they tried to do what the M. Heat  did.. get a weak coach and let the  player play and win. He was awful coach has no biz getting a head coach job.

not so sure the heat coach is weak.  at least his team didn't start 1 - 4 and looked terrible doing it.  i think brown just didn't have control of his team especially dwight

he is very weak.  Bob mcadoo runns the offense and  the other  asst guys runs the defense.  The heat coach  just   imspires them pretty much.

I dont care for dwight howard or  the lakers .  I dont  brown controlled kobe either .   Its the owner who is  so scared to trade him. I would have traded kobe a long time ago..  He nothing more than tall version of allen  iverson. same as dwight  is another version of shaq  My  opinion

haha... taller version of iverson... ahahahahha... sad thing is, i agree with you.  although, kobe has worked on his game more.

Kobe had the hunger and the drive to be great. Of course his height helped too. Iverson never wanted to work on anything. I don't think I need to go in depth there as his problems with Larry Brown and practice (Not the game!!!) are well documented.

That shows you how loved AI was here because if Andre Iguodala had said he didn't care about practice I don't think that brother would still be alive :smileyvery-happy:

Only Brian Dawkins could match Iverson's popularity here. Miss em' both......

Well thats not  true about iverson and his practice. iverson worked on his  game in the off season > He felt if worked in the off season  he doesntt need to practice inthe season like that.  Iverson and larry brown  were great friends,  It was the fact L brown like everyone to get the ball and team  was very bad shooting wise,  so if they lose they would blame iverson..  Either way he is going to get blamed, shoot to much or the team  lose to much..

It was just bad all  around. But i think iverson   could have been like cris paul  in  his play making.  Kobe on the other hand inherited a good team of  guys. Every year  he got some one good.. Thats not the  case for iverson.. he got glenn robinsin.  rookie jermaine  jones,   sam dalbert, a rookie Iggy ..( both undeveloped btw)

kobe   had shaq, robert horry.   devin george,  metta world ppeace.  gasol, T ariza. dwight howard.      If  you put  kobe on the bobcats  he couldnt  carry them to the champioinship.. Thats what iverson did with the  sixers.. with little to no  help. Now i do think iverson should have  make the  championship with  the nuggets with melo and  those boys, but  by that time  He   out of his prime.Still in his ball hog  ways becuase that just something he had to do all his career, it was mental trust issue with him.

If  you look kobe today he is still stacked his talent,  just like his rookie year. 5  rings to his  credits..  He didnt win any of them rings alone. The 5th ring was won by  T. ariza in that championship, he was so big after that season they traded him for  metta world peace. . I'll tke iverson over kobe anyday.. I  never liked  kobe,  all he does is steal people moves and game, who has he made  made better. Iverson never  did that( steal peoples  moves)  He make iggy  better and dalebert is  better today as well.. Thats why i give  Ai  that .5 edge over  kobe .
