LAKERS offseason changes

79 replies 1 views Edited Jun 18, 2008

The LAKERS obviously need to make some changes over the offseason. What changes do you guys think they need to make? (As in trades, free agents, coaches, etc.) Or are you sold on the opinion that Bynum returning will be enough? (I don't think so). Please feel free to post.

They need a PG and an improved bench.

I would consider trading/waiving: Luke Walton, Radmanovich (sp)

Test the mkt on a "potential" Odom trade (just to see what his value is & how much they can get)

Look for a strong "3" (SF) in the draft, b/c Farmar & Vujajic (sp?) look to be progessing pretty well at this point at the guard position...

**bleep**?
Our bench is freakin awesome. Sasha is one of the best players in the NBA to come right off the bench and give a spark to us.
D-Fish isn't the best PG, but he gets it done and he's a player that can make the open shot when Kobe get's double teamed.
Why is everyone flipping out though? Heck, were the 2nd best team in the whole NBA. We've got the best player in the whole NBA.
We just need to get healthy and stronger, hopefully our players let this burn in them to where they can't except failure, or getting beat by 40 in the NBA Finals.
People...We got to the NBA Finals without Andrew Bynum. We were the #1 seed in the West...And we didn't have Bynum half the year. Imagine next year with two 7 footers standing down there waiting for someone to take them into the paint.
We don't need changes. Were fine.

Although...I wouldn't mind seeing V.Radmonvic leave. I hate him.

i dont think they need to do anything either

what the hell are they gonna get for luke walton? i think hes a solid 7th or 8th man but nobody is gonna give you anything good for him

odom and gasol had no playoff experience, if they get back there next year they will be even better

i think farmar is looking like he is going uphill, if he can really step it up next year, the lakers will be even tougher

i dont think they need to do any roster changes though, just mature the players they got and they will be very good

No... don't change anything.

The team is fine.

With Bynum you guys are gonna kick some... you know.

AND DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE DEREK FISHER

The guy is amazing.
