FAVORITE COMEBACKS

24 replies 1 views Edited Jul 14, 2008

SO.

I attended the Pirates and Cardinals game the other night........

And, if you didn't already hear, the Pirates came back from a 10-4 defecit and ended up winning the game in the tenth with a Jason Michaels walk-off homer.

That, I must say, is my favorite comeback.

What is your favorite baseball comeback?? ( In real baseball and MLB the show)

that crazy rockies vs marlins game this year when the marlins were up 13-4 at one point and lost

also last year the braves came back to beat the phillies without hardly hitting the ball out of the infield.

they scored 4 in the eith and 3 in the ninth to win it. man i was going crazy

O gosh as a Pirate fan thats one of the worst moments of our franchise. Haven't been in a playoff game since that one. Bonds lazy throw helped a bit too.

Re: FAVORITE COMEBACKS

Jul 14, 2008

In my Franchise, I made it to the W.S. with the Tigers in 2008. I was playing against the Mets. It was a 0-0 game all the way to the 8th when Jose Reyes belted a 3 run home run. I cgained some ground with a leadoff triple by Granderson, then a sac fly by Polanco. Going into the 9th, the score was 3-1. Sean Casey(traded from bos earlier in year) hit a lead of home run.

Bottom 9th, score was 4-1. Carlos Guillen drew a lead off walk followed by a single by Mr. Clutch, Magglio Ordonez. I know I am down 4-1 at the moment, but I decided to advance the runners with a bunt from speedster, Ryan Raburn. The 3rd baseman couldn't handle the ball, allowing all runeers to be safe.

You can probably guess what happens next. Cabrera is up to bat and get 2 straight balls. The third pitch is high in the stike zone, and he BELTS it. GRAND SLAM. TIGERS WON 5-4.

I think even without the home run, I would have came back to at least tie it because there were no outs.
