Cardinals just took a big hit. I heard Mark Mulder hurt his shoulder in his big return from being on the DL all season. As a Cardidnals fan Im really wishing we didnt trade Dan Haren for this guy. He had one good year in STL and has been hurt ever since.

aren't the cardinals expecting chris carpenter and adam wainwright in a month? if they pitch well, it could be just as good as the cubs getting haren and the brewers getting CC.

If Carpender returns to his old form, its basically like aquiring a pitcher just as good if not better than Sabathia or Harden, but I'm not holding my breath. Waignright will bounce back fine and Matt Clement is somewhere in the minors or something if they really need him.

I know he was good for the Cubs for a litle while, pitched in Tamba before that and he ended up on the Red Sox and did nothing there.

Clement never pitched for Tampa Bay, he Started with the Padres and was there 3 years, went to the Marlins for a year, then was with the Cubs for 3 years, which were the best years of his career, then he went to Boston for two years and now he is in the St. Louis organization.
