Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time

Hey, I have a problem with the cross save feature for the sly cooper thieves in time... I have been trying to transfer my save game to my ps vita but I am missing an option in the cross save menu... the game manual says that in the cross save menu are the options download from cloud and upload to cloud, and i'm missing the upload options... so, how do i do it? Also, there is supposed to be a cross controller feature for that game and i tried launching the cross controller app from the remote play app while starting the game on ps3 but nothing happens... how is it supposed to work?

U need to start a game on either system, then in the pause menu click on cross play, upload to cloud, then u can pick up where u left off on the other system, ur gonna need to do this everytime u switch systems

Until you have something to upload, there is no upload option.  Start (or load) a game, make some progress, save it, then the option to upload to cloud will become available.  I've been using the option since I bought the game.  I've been jumping pretty freely from the PS3 to the Vita and back again since I've started playing the game.
