Sly 4 End bug/glitch - How do I fix this?

We can play to the very end of the game, and we can get about 10 seconds to when the end cutscene of the game is supposed to play (so while killing the skunk). But then in the middle of the fencing part, it automatically reduces our health to zero and makes us restart from the beginning of that part of the battle. We've tried cleaning the disc and that didn't work....
