Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time

I'm on the first "world"  and I'm stuck at the fishing part, anyone know how to move the rod?! It just sits there and I can't catch any fish! Anyone else having this problem on the ps3?

You move the rod with the sixaxis.  Tilt the controller/Vita in the direction you want to move the rod.  Press the X button when prompted to catch a fish.

Press & hold until it turns red, then you get the fish, you have to be pretty quick though, but there's anough time.
