Upgraded HDD - how do I re-download my Singstar songs?

I have been fortunate enough to upgrade my PS3 HDD but was not able to back up my singstar songs but understand I can redownload them. Question is - where from? I go to Playstation store and view history and no songs appear just the demos and singstar viewer that was there previously.  I can see a couple of Guitar Hero tracks but nothing else.

Anyone any ideas - I am at my wits end and my Mrs is gonna batter me if I dont get the tracks back :womanmad:

Look forward to a steer from somone please...

you go into singstar..... click on sing store..... then at the bottom it says view purchase history, before you go in to whats hot, new songs genres or whatever... i think you press square... not sure though.... then you can download all your old songs

Re: Upgraded HDD - how do I re-download my Singstar songs?

how do you backup the songs/extras if i want to change the harddrive to a bigger one?

and with this, do i have to reactive my songs by calling sony? or will they recognise my ps3 and return me back automatically?

If you still have the old HDD, plug it again and make a back up. I don't remember where exactly is this option, but i'm sure you can find it on XMB. I've replaced mine and did backup all of my extras and downloaded stuff into a external HDD, it might take a little long but works.

Re: Upgraded HDD - how do I re-download my Singstar songs?

i changed my dead ps3 to the new slim one , i did manage to back up the old hard drive before getting rid of it and restored all my other stuff but the songs did not restore and now when i try to download my songs again it will not recognise me as the original ps3, even though it is on my account.

to me this is a rip off as i purchased well over 20 songs. i have even tried to contact singstar but can't find a number or address to contact them , can anyone help.

i even decided to redownload at my own cost but was redirected to my download history so couldn't even do that

Call 1-877-971-7669 (USA), (press 0) to have all of your Signstar purchases reauthorized. It takes 5-7 days for them to process the request. You can see all of your past purchases in the Singstore under My Singstore. There you will see folder icons that indicate what songs you have entitlement to.

Good Luck

This is where I'm at.  I was willing to even buy the songs again, but can't even do that.  Any luck getting your purchases back?
