For those of us that are Spanish speakers, a few days ago Sony announced the release of SingStar Mecano.

I am a huge fan of Mecano.

Mecano was very popular in the 80s and 90s -- a band from Spain. Their discography has many memorable hits like, Aire, Descanso Dominical, Me colé en una fiesta, El 9 de septiembre, and many many more. No release date as of yet... and most probably it will just be released in Europe, so... I will have to buy this one from elcorteingles.es

They do. They had so many hits in the eighties. Their lead vocalist was Ana Torroja. And the other two members were brother, Jose Ignacio (Nacho) Cano and Jose M. Cano. Their lyrics where very both poetic and estravagant. I think their last CD together was Stereosexual... one of my favorite albums is Descanso Dominical... but there are so many more...

There's a release date: Nov. 17th, 2009.

I imagine this will only be released in Spain... so, I guess I will be able to buy it from elcorteingles.es

Does anyone know any other online store that might sell it?

Does it work in US PS3 consoles? If so, can you buy the PS2 version and be able to play it too?

The PS3 game will work with a US console, but not the ps2 version.

I just ordered mine through a friend that lives in Spain, since I didn't have any luck finding a store that would ship it to the US.
