Looking for a multi-player shooter to tide me over until Dust 514 and Borderlands 2.

Should I get the Killzone 3 MP, or MAG?

Both good games, get them both.

Killzone 3 seems to be more people, so you'll have an easier time getting into more matches.

I'd go with KZ3 over MAG, but if you want a more challenging game try SOCOM: Conftontation or SOCOM 4. Both are real fun shooters

I have had real problems with the matchmaking for KZ3, but MAG only has 2 modes that are playable the whole day, at least that is the story for me.

Both have demos on the playstation store, and I would advise you try both of the out. That way, you can make a decision based on your own experience.

mag was an awesome game. but you missed the boat. its pretty much dead with barely any players left. the server is very laggy and you cant play over half the game modes due to player count or lag problems. i logged over 2000 hours on mag and was in the top 500 on the leaderboards worldwide. i truly miss the epicness of 256 player chaos and have lost all hope for a replacement on this gen console.

Killzone 3 is a better choice. Trust me, it's really good.
