Hello, the reason I have come here is listed in my topic subject. I am searching for any information on whether or not there will be  digital version of black ops 2 on PSN.. The reason I have such high hopes for this is Dishonored, Assassins Creed 3, Doom, Medal of Honor, and Borderlands 2 are all available for download on the PSN.. Also I have noticed Modern Warfare 3 is finally available as well. Now I am one of those people who have upgraded his PS3's hard drive and would buy  a digital game over a physical one any day. I don't however like to wait a whole year just to be able to download a game via PSN nor do I want to pay $59.99 for a Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 when they have been out for well over a year and almost over year when they cost $39.99 and $49.99... I would however pay $59.99 for a game on release day and be able to play it with everyone else all year until the next one comes out... Not be behind the trend by a year just cause I like digital better. So does anyone know or hold any information if Blacks Ops 2 will be available for Pre-Order/Purchase on PSN anytime soon? I really hope I am not the only one who holds interest in this topic and that someone will have some kind of information for me.. I was contemplating contacting Activation to see if they could inform me better, but I don't have high hopes for that option.

There's a chance . They're starting to offer more digital downloads for newer-end games now just like Xbox has done for some time now . If it's not going to be available right when the game releases , it'll probably be available around a two month period like Battlefield 3 did .

I also want there to be a digital copy of black ops 2 because the disk drive in my ps3 is broken and i have no idea what to do (wheather i should get someone to fix it or just buy a new one) it works perfectly just it cant play cds so i would love it if it came out a digital one. I wouldn't be too mad if it came out a few weeks after the release date but 1 month max.

Someone should tweet Activision in regards to this, they've been very active on Twitter lately - I would do it if I had a Twitter account, would really be interested in this as I have a lot of PSN funds that I'd like to use.

Well I have high hopes for COD:BO2 to be on PSN because mosr games are on day-one digital download that are brand new BUT since you can game share with yourself and another system this will cut profits a bit so its possible for a delay time. Basically it will be on psn store just a little later, but if they dont know about people beating the system then we will get it the day it comes out.

I asked them on Twitter and they said they have no current plans. They'll probably release it early next year like they do every year with there latest entry. I just preordered it of Tesco instead.

I have this exact same problem with my disc drive not working, hope to see this on first day digital download on psn would be disappointing not to.
