Hello there! I've already finished the game and there is one thing I've been wondering.
It's true that the "ending" is just one? There is no other secret or different ending? Because if is just one ending then why they bothered making the scene where we can use Dormin to attack the Shaman and the soldiers? And what's with that part where Wander is absorbed by the pool? Can someone escape from it?

Yes, there is only one ending.
You can control parts of the ending for emotional stimuation, and so that the ending is more dramatic and relatable.
No, you cannot escape the pool. There's invisible walls stopping you if you go too far. You can technically glitch behind a wall and fall to your death during that part, but it just results in a game lock-up.

yes it is true that there is no alternate ending to the game. there is no way that dormin can stop the soldiers and when you are getting sucked into the pool there is an invisable wall at the other end of the temple so you cant go any further. and Mono (the girl) is also not there!!
i think that the main point of those scenes is to make it an interactive or playable movie scene, which i think is much more fun that just watching it.
EDIT: dam andrew beat me to it!

Love the artwork. One of the BEST games of 05. This explains everything at the end. But i Wonder, Does the new game coming out: "The Last Guardian" Is it the last guardian of all colossus? Please someone answer my question. Give this game 5 out of 5. They should make a remake of this game in PS3.

I just finished the game and loved it. But one thing is bugging me,
After Mono finds the horned baby, does she know what Wander did for her? Or that the Baby may be Wander?
I feel kinda ticked off if she didn't know all the stuff we went through.

Hey Shoot- I just finished the game for the first time as well.
Considering that Mono seemed to reconize Argo, and Argo seemed to know who she was- I would think that she would know that Wander had been here. Its all my own speculation, but I gathered that Wander and Argo had been together for a very, very long time. They have a deep bond. Likewise- Wander must have had a deep love and bond with Mono- be it a family member or lover -to go through hell for her.
That being said, Wander and Argo would have been together and Mono would associate Argo, with Wander. Though I think it would be impossible (unless something intervened) for Mono to know exactly what happened, I am sure she could gather from her suroundings (Argo being wounded, Wander being no were in sight, the rubble of the statues and strange lights beaming into the sky) that he had done something in this place to save her. I'm not sure what she would think, when finding that child.
The viliage they grew up in told stories of this place, and the demons in it- which is who Wander knew to journey there. Perhaps Mono has heard stories of seals placed on monters, or had knowlage that would lead her into thinking something had happened to turn Wander into this infint- or at least that its birth was tied into him.
I like to think that, as the child grew and Mono was able to venture away from the central shrine- that perhaps she investigated the becons of light (assuming they were long burning) and came to a rough understanding of what Wander had done. I do think, that regardless of how much she understands, she does know that Wander had a hand in bringing her back to life.

The ending, wasn't very clear as in kind of confusing. It was also a little sad, since the "hero dies", but the girl does survive. Argo, The horse comes back with the girl. That is the ending. But, right before the ending is pretty cool, you become one Colossus and all.
