I understand that a sniper rifle puts more power behind it giving it more velocity and power. But than they should fix the stats and not have a SR25 say it has the same damage as the 417 or m14 when its clearly not, This is where i believe the problem lies in the balance of the game. /6 might be confused on the guns. Im not complaining i love the game just pointing at fact they have in their own game
As said before, they have a bullet calibur guide they go by, they don't make the stats up, they just say "Okay, this gun uses this bullet size, so it should do this much damage"
Even though really, it doesn't, because it has more/less velocity.

The Tilly which is the Mk11 Mod 0 in real life shoots a 7.62x51mm round, the HK 417 and M14 shoot the same round. The L96, M60, and Mk.48 also shoot the 7.62x51mm NATO. So inother words your wrong, they use the same bullets.Mk.11 Mod 0 (Tilly)http://www.knightarmco.com/images/sr25.htmlHK417http://www.hk-usa.com/military_products/hk417_specs.asp M14http://world.guns.ru/assault/as15-e.htmoh wow Ididn't know that.
I was expecting them to be a bit larger in size than an assault rifle bullet.
Its odd how DirtyHarrys colt has a bigger bullet than these assault rifles/sniper rifles
Dirty Harry used a Model 29 Smith and Wesson, not a Colt and the .44 Magnum is 11x33mm its far smaller than the 7.62x51mm NATO. The .44 Mag has a muzzle velocity of 1,500 fps the standard sniper loading for the 7.62 NATO has a muzzle velocity of 2,700 fps. At 1,000 yards the 7.62 NATO will strike with the same amount of energy of the .44 Mag from point blank range.
