it was slant6 first PS3 game. I believe they learned from it and could do a much better job the second time around

I'm going to laugh my arse off when zipper trashes the socom series.  Don't get me wrong, I really want to play a great TPS, but I don't think zipper is ever going to go back to what made socom, well, socom!  It's a new era, with a new generation of players, with new technology.  

I hope they go back to their roots, but I'm not holding my breath.

If it sucks will have Ghost Recon Future Soldier up next, I wasn't the biggest fan of Advanced Warfighter so I hope Ubisoft steps up.

Dude post 1.6 it was a pretty good game. Every Socom zipper has made has been plagued with cheating and glitches (their only excuse being that they were all last-gen games). I would love to see another /6 socom because I believe they would learn from their mistakes and make it way better. With zipper, they refuse to learn from their mistakes at all.

the only good thing about confrontation was that it had SOCOM features in it but the game was is and it will be a **bleep**y game. Once you play SOCOM 4 you will be amazed, specially with ZIPPER actually fixing they little mistakes before and after release date, you should be exited because SOCOM 4 will be a top quality game and not a bugged **bleep**y game like confrontation.

I said goobye to Confrontation. Can't seem to enjoy it after trying out SOCOM 4.

I might login every now & then to say hi to some friends, but that's about it. I'm trying to patiently wait for the S4 Beta so my "SoCrack" itch gets scratched again.

thats what i said for years when i disliked socom 3 and up......yet here i am, havent touched confrontation in over a year, picked up mw2 loved it, now black ops.  Both are great games and a great substitute until a socom game worth my time is developed.  I fear socom 4 is far from the game to bring me back to the franchise.  i play fps for the health regen and respawn....just dont understand why they would incorporate these attributes into the socom franchise....beyond me

well /6 has recently begun work on a new project, it may not be SOCOM but it may be the long rumored new star wars battlefront game, which was a great series back on ps2.. closest thing to socom in my eyes.. even more so then "socom 4"
