how is this posible and how can i fix this? i can log online on my ps3 but when it comes time to log on to Socom it comes up as Network Initialization Failed. whats the problem guys?   and yes i have reset my modem many times.

**** sakes, can anyone spare a minute and help me out or what? This is the only game i own on ps3 so im not too familiar with the ps3 online.

try power cycling your modem and your router both.

if that doesnt do it, try logging in with a different name, i have seen peoples names stuck in the system before.  even though they are logged off, the system still thinks they are logged in and wont let them back online until the servers are reset, or for some reason the servers log the name off.

when it happens to me i just reboot ps3 than it works!

socom severs are down!!! you cant fix it thats up to slant six and sony!!! (REG)

/6 hasn't been responsible for Con. for a couple of years but yes con servers were hit or miss last night.

it's not you or your game! server's have been down since late yesterday.  it's back up now.
