Maybe because not everyone is a troll who hates everything.

owned...SHM,  this guy consistently in every single topic bashing the socom confrontation and Slant six.

So relax and enjoy the game, people...-__-

He spends more of his time today trolling the S4 fanboys which does makes for interesting showdowns.

I have to assume that such people were the same type waiting for zipper to come and save them durring the confrontation days but when that never happened they couldn't admit they were wrong and now are just bitter at everyone.

You guys really want a "Confrontation 2" LOL, how about them just making a remake or remastering an original? Socom Confrontation 2 is kinda ridiculous no? First of all it has no single player and the first one, well, was kinda not welcomed as a beloved game, yea it sold a million, but it was off the name alone and not to mention it came with a pretty expensive microphone cough* cough* (buy this game and get a mic! all in one sweet package!) so to sum it up it was bought because of the name "SOCOM" and if joe shmoe went to go buy a mic, which was around $50, why not just buy that "SOCOM" game that came with a mic! for $60!!

IGN Interview with Method Man: A few minutes later the map changed to "Rust" and suddenly Method Man's SOCOM experience began to show through. In the tight corridors and blind turns, his tactical sense shined, lining up shots around corners with patience. "You can't just run around like that in SOCOM," he told his victims. "You run around like that in SOCOM you get popped." http://music.ign.com/articles/108/1088485p1.html

I know a few people that bought the bundle for the mic and returned the game for trade-in credit at Gamestop. They ended up making money on the deal.

I suppose it's the name and mic that keep so many playing today too?

$50 for a bluetooth headset is not expensive by the way.

Today? As in the 800 people? Who had $5 dollars left on their GameStop giftcard and decided to buy Confrontation? And $50 for a blutooth was damn expensive for a mic in 2008... You can get a full TB or Triton HEADSET for that now...

LMAO, b_ nope Im just realistic. You talking of accepting one of the two people solely responcible for making  a socom game worse. Why is it your not looking at another new bigger more exeperienced developer? WHy must everyone pick one of the two people who have already made a failed socom?

What makes you think they can get it right when they are no different than Zipper? Well It seems picking developers is on the same level as out political race we have going on here. Your forcing yourselves to pick one of the lesser two evils. So be it.

IF your that dumb to do that you deserve what you get.

Sorry peeps I just expect more from a game or a developer. Even in real life I don't settle. You guys wouldn't either if this was some other product you just brought home. Im sure if this was a tv,or what ever you would be back in the store returning it especially if it was sold broken or incomplete.

You guys shouldn't lower your expectations so bad, because the only outcome is another failure of a game. Think about that because Zipper has failed 3 games already. Slant has done 1 and from the looks you guys will get number 2. LOL

They're really just talking up the listing and the position. Would anyone respond to an ad that read "... and other horrendously bland titles that will pad your library"?

No, you're far from it.

You refuse to open your eyes to the reality of the situation. That confrontation was socom and the best version of it we will ever get in this modern world, a sequel to it is the only hope we have going into the future.

You call yourself a realist when you expect some third party to fly out of nowhere and somehow know how to do a socom from scratch? ...please you're an hopeless idealist nothing more.

b_ you really should step back and see how pathetic this really is. Your choosing the lesser evil. You think it was the best version in todays world then you really have such a low expectation in games. There is no way that can be true first of all because new features were added against what the entire community wanted. We didnt want OTS or run buttons etc...

Look how buggy the game was and its still is today. Whats even more ironic is all you have to do is look at new RE. Its looks and shoots just like confrontation. LOL They haven't learned anything especially a way to improve thier game engine etc. For if they are using the same one as confrontation which it sure looks like. Nothing has changed. Which means if there was a confron 2 it too would be doomed.

SO believe me or not its your perogative but settling will get you no where. Its either a socom full complete classic game or its not. There is no grey area here. Which is where your leaving yourself by taking a company who made a lesser socom but not as bad as Socom 4... rotflmao see how that sounds...LOL
