We just want another socom. it was and has been one of my fav games since I played on the ps2. I got socom 4 when it came out while playstation netwok was down. played the story mode all the way through 2 or 3 times. so its been almost 2 yrs and i just got my ps3 right before i got the game. i have bought like 20 games since then. to guess what thats right sit there and collect dust. so yes if ya bring another socom to the table i will be in line to get it. same with alot of other people. see ya in the game MADDENKING

They tried to create a product for the the whole market, not SOCOM fans, and it failed, so they're killing the franchise altogether without compromising for proportinate sales to the niche. Why should they care for a minority of purist fans who're a small share of the potential market? Sure, they kill a unique franchise, and betray original fans, but profitable endeavors are futile without absolute domination, apparently, and a short-sighted attempt to be appealing in general.

SOCOM should be special and itself, not an imitator which fails as it loses identity to mundane mechanics, failing both loyal fans to average, desirable customers... Where's the innovation to mechanics and exclusive nature to genres?

rman182 you understand socom. I have never read a more spot on explanation of socom ever. "Theres nothing like those adrenaline filled, heart thumping, oh man, shakey hands, sweaty palms,scary,fun, your the last dude alive on your team,1v4/5 etc, win or lose, comeback rounds" I lived for those moments.

I was on top 10 on socom 2 i rememeber my clan <NS> lol dam those were the days, and im talking about before the cheaters started popping out pure f/~/<kiNg skill  **bleep** you guys have me remembering all of the stuff around that time the rooms the talks late nights switching teams green the f*** up voting someones behind you bro, trash talking, clan wars, THE RUINS !!!!!! Crossroads, dam like are you serious you like COD its like MCDONALDS shut it the **bleep** down and bring out WINGSTOP that **bleep** is f***** so good have taste SONY strategy game i mean i could sit the **bleep** down with a group of ignorant people and still come up with better s/-/~IT  than SOCOM 4 and COD BLACK OPS 2 put together !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
