It's probably not a PS4 or heralding in it's announcement but with this the only surviving socom platform someone might be interested.

Like most comments there, I have zero interest in Sony's latest money grab scheme. One comment summed it up nice "unless you're in the market for a 5 year old bare-bones console with crap online service".

It's just the holiday season everyone is going to be putting out refreshed versions of their product to try and grab some attention when the sales come around. Concerning socom though some who might of left confrontation at first could be looking at coming back now that they axes the PS2 servers.

re: Confrontation

Ya last night was kind of weird, seemed extra busy. I think that was because of some sort of stat reset, there was a ton of people including me running around with a 0 1 rating and ranking.

I actually got on the game last night though for no particular reason, was nice no cheaters for a few matches though for some reason I joined a 16v16 for my second room and got frustrated by the lag and quit.
