A note about the famas

remember the player makes the gun, the gun doesnt make the player. we can all admit the famas is too good, but chances are if their killing you with that, they would be killing you with any other assault rifle almost as easy

Very well said. Simple but it's the truth. Agreed. I use the FAMAS G2 now, but I didn't for my 1st name, which has 4000+ games, and my stats are very similar to my stats on this new name.

it does give u a slight benefit in head to head no cover gun fights. but ive taken out famas users with a sniper close quaters and then taking out my pistol after they empty the mag, then i won them. famas isn't more of a problem against me than any other gun.

It isn't false. The thing is that the way of playing has to be changed according to the gun you are using. Using the FAMAS G2 allows me to manuever around the map a lot quicker without being too worried, because of it's power. Should I use another gun-my main favorite-the M4A1 (for instance), I would still manuever around the map, but not anywhere as quickly as when using the FAMAS G2. Using the M4A1, my skills are quite honestly, similar if not 100% equal as when using the FAMAS G2. What determines the difference-if any-in the amount of kills I get is the style of playing I resort to. As someone who thinks carefully, I know how to adjust to whatever gun I am using, situation I am in, and etc.

Ah yes, but for what reason? I use the HK7 because it's the lightest weapon. Players use the Famas because it's the best weapon

Undeniably the FAMAS is the superior assault rifle. Appealing as it sounds there shouldn't be a superior assault rifle, they should have their trade offs. For instance, the M14 was as powerful and fast in socom 2 as the FAMAS is now, but it had a 20 round clip and the gun was loud as hell, but that's not the case. You have all the attachments you need at your dispose, including a nice silencer. The accuracy and range is just fine, nothing bad by any means. The guns needs to be nerfed and will be soon, so after that happens you will hear complaining from FAMAS users and it will be used less.
