I like being able to jump high. Confrontation was horrible you really had to work hard to jump on things.

I think whats bothering you is the animation when he pulls his legs up, doesnt really bother me but i would like to see the old SOCOM Hop back.

You might actually be right! But the jumping is still a little extreme regardless. Its too high for a human being to jump (on planet earth)

The solution is to make it longer instead of higher. Dudes look like they are bouncing off of trampolines.

Re: Tone down the jumping!

Honestly I laughed a bit when i watched that video. The guy literally floats upwards and just kind of comes back down like a feather. It just LOOKS ridiculous.

Re: Tone down the jumping!

Maybe it was a glitch? I am sure Zipper would have seen that, if it were to be the actual animation.

The game looks pretty good so far (I haven't seen any gameplay yet) and the iron sights just look weird. I prefer the old crosshairs zoom with no gun.

I dont really agree with you, I did jump a lot in respawn and in classic and it was ok for me.

I would love the jump to be more dynamic also... but seriously, no need to tone down the jumping at all....

I liked the jump as well, but it's all personal preference.

Re: Tone down the jumping!

the video is missleading since the player dont jump and the guy beside him jump and it fall from high at the same time...

so the animation of jumping is completed but the guy dont touch the ground since he's falling from higher that leads to this kind of pulling leg animation...

jumping dont need to be toned down at all

IMO.
