I been playing socom since its ps2 day. I'd go over my friends house learned about this game and I fell in love with socom 2, there hasn't been a title yet that touches its greatness, after socom 2 the rest were all let downs only confrontation came close to socom... Socom 4 zipper should be slapped in the mouth for even putting that out. Trying to make socom a respawn.. A arcade style game??? Socom was about making friends getting clans even exchanging your real life numbers form bonds with the ppl u play with that was socom y'all were brothers and would incorporate that into the game on how we played how close we were go back to your roots and give us socom the real socom the socom that put play station online play on the map

After playing socom 1 offline only (no high speed internet), then playing S2 religiously I met quite a few friends whom I still talk to this day, whether over the phone, text messages, skype, aim or FB.  It definitely was a sad day for me with the release of S3/CA as I lost contact with quite a few of my friends because we just couldnt get into the new style of socom.  Confrontation with all its flaws (which socom doesnt have flaws), at least was able to reconnect myself with quite a few of my lost socom friends.
