You've been provin wrong by madden, tomb, and myself. Are you trolling or just that ignorant? You are looking for a game that holds your hand, but this isn't uncharted. We don't need a special feature that glues us to a wall, unlike you ADD misfits who can't just sit behind a wall without moving your analog stick ever second.

Madden nor tomb cheat to my knowledge, but if you have evidence, present it. Or if you have evidence where i said "was going to college or something and leaving Socom?" where is it?

See baileyboy92 the difference between me and you is that you play video games to prove to everyone that you are great at something.  While you obsess about gaining ranks and climbing leaderboards and trying to prove your manhood on a video game, I'm busy winning in real life and only play video games for fun and relaxation.  Maybe in a few years (when you mature a little) you will understand that life doesn't revolve around a leaderboard.

As far as you accusing me of being a glitcher on SOCOM 2 (or any other video game), you are making up lies and I can prove you've never seen me glitching on SOCOM 2.  I play S:C or S:4 almost everynight and I've played with many people who frequent these forums and no one has even accused me of being a cheater/dirty player/camper and they also know I aint no scrub either, now that's the facts jack.

And the results are in, the winner of Sonys #20YearsOf Play poll is...

A lot of interesting ideas.  I feel as though this idea would be impossible for the veteran SOCOM fans. The only way to get around seeing around a corner is to make it a first-person shooter.  There wouldn't ever be a camera angle in 3rd person view that would be close enough to the character to prohibit you from seeing around a corner while behind a wall.  I was just curious what you meant because your previous posts said to bring back the S2 camera angle.  I think it is a great idea in terms of stopping the camping however, I think that has just naturally always been apart of the SOCOM series.

Yeah you get what I'm trying to say. I would hope someone in the creating world of gaming could sit down and do just that, give us the open view with peripheral views and as you close in on a wall the view would shrink and force you to stand and look from the open area and if you  take cover you can't see unless your body is exposed. Give us the lean out without  being in cover. I just want it so that the guy rushing in has a chance to see the guy who's been hiding the whole time and thinking he's so good because he hides better then anyone. LOL I laugh at that all the time. Just want it to be an even playing field is what I'm getting at for both players. This will eliminate a lot of camping and force you to come out and maybe get sniped, instead of having so much fun shooting people in the back and thinking your so great. Heh.

WARFIGHTER beta on 360 is a step in the right direction. It has a lobby system and encourages team work with fireteams. It's addicting as hell and even the one map has so many different routes it remains fun. EA did their homework, this is sad that Zipper isn't the one breaking ground like Medal of Honor. I know its fps, but they have nailed it, plus there are supposed to be a one death modes as well.

I agree jakent412 with what your saying, but that's all good for COD not SOCOM.

Socom was the ground breaker a full year before COD came online.

Socom wrote the book on what all war fighting games should be modeled as.

But then the debacle happened, they hired a new company to take a whack at it, Slant 6 and

everything changed as a result. So good and many bad. But they tried.

Then Zipper came back after all the bashing and trolling on these forums about Slant 6 and

they were ousted from the SONY world part of Socom.

And now we're back with Zipper, problem was that the guys at Zipper were all a new crew of

Programmers and this and that. Not the original makers. So they came in with their new bright

ideas to match COD! WRONG MOVE. That's when Socom started a downward spiral into loneliness.

No Lobbies, Only OPEN MICS, Cover System different arch for nades. Oh yeah no more HAND GUNS!

and it continued, 3-5 sec lobbies, camera angle totally skewed and the mixing of players from one side to another without a choice. ???? Who thought that up? Oh yeah and let's not forget the Breaches and Escorts and Extractions and loss of vehicles in water and land. We loved that stuff! Why Zipper? Why did you cut your own throats. You were told in the fake open forum you held and you still didn't listen. SMH, SMH

Socom has always been a COMMUNITY BASED GROUP OF GAMERS. They took that all away and the Gamers

said oh really, then we won't play and we won't buy and we quit. That's why the Zipper company was shut down and the game as you see it now, is still not finished.

On the good side, the design or look of the game has never been better. Compare the Ruins from S2 to the Ruins of S4, no comparison. Better looking building and foliage and fauna and just all around the maps look way better then ever. That they did right. So I still play with my friends because we have made the best of it in this game we call Socom.

If you like Call of doo doo then go play that. But for the die hard Socomers, I never will play anything other then Socom. Peace

You know though the "PoP Out" was never an issue to me.  You "Pop out" you get "Popped out" on.  It was how the camera worked and it was cool.  It made you take your time if you were assulting a place (ie Death Trap) and made you learn where people would do it.  That is why I would like to be able to carry 6 grenades again.  It was Socom and that is all I want!!  **bleep** these "snap behind cover" systems that **bleep** is to complicated and again another beautiful thing about socom was that it was Simple very simple but FUN!!!
