Make this your next Socom 5 game and you'll top all game sales ever.

Put all these maps in but, you must also fix a few things.

 

PUT OUR LOBBIES BACK!

 

FIX THE CAMERA TO THE ONE FROM SOCOM 2.

 

DO NOT ALLOW 203' or PE4's IN NON VEHICLE MAPS.

 

PUT JEEPS AND SOCARTS AND VEHICLES BACK.

 

ALSO IN THE LOBBY, ALLOW US TO HAVE AT LEAST

30 Seconds to arrange our friends to the correct sides we choose and not have the game pick who we play with. BIG MISTAKE THERE

 

Keep the new look going with the old maps and remake them like you did with *RUINS  and others.

 

THE COVER SYSTEM! FIX THAT, Allow us to throw Grenades with our left and right hand. And get rid of that under hand throw. Allow us to look around corners like in Confrontation, with the left or right. Right now the game forces us to all be right handed only. A Navy Seal can throw a Grenade with both hands if need be, so why can't we in the game?

 

The Scopes, get the red dot out of the scopes! Please research the past scopes used in the previous Socom Editions and use those with a combination of new looks. But what is in place now, makes it really hard to see and the purpose of a scope is to see better!

 

ROOM SIZES, BRING BACK small and BIG Maps and allow us to have 8v8 or 16v16 choice as well. You need the BIG Maps for the 32 player rooms. And where are our night maps? And Snow Maps? Water Maps? Desert Maps? All gone and mainly jungle and some city or business Maps. 

 

The Weapons, I think, not sure of this one, but, when you made the weapons weight a factor, I think that was a good thing. You shouldn't be able to run and  jump with a M60 Machine Gun as you do if you carried a SMG and an Assault Rifle. You also shouldn't be able to jump shoot and snipe with a sniper rifle either, just saying.

 

And Pistols! Who had the bright idea to take away Pistols and you then see the characters carrying them on their sides in the game and not be able to pull those out. Those were GREAT. We created rooms just to have pistol wars, great fun and that was taken away as well.

 

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, GET RID OF OPEN MICS! TOO MANY PEOPLE TALKING AT THE SAME TIME MAKING PEOPLE DEVELOP MIGRAINE HEADACHES.

 

USE THOSE SMALL PIECES OF INFO AND YOU WILL SELL THIS GAME TO THE MILLIONS OF BLANKED OFF SOCOM VETS THAT HAVE QUIT THE GAME.

It is completely idiotic to say it would break every sales record because it would not be top 10. Socom takes skill which the average gamer and 10 year old wont ask 4 for Christmas. I enjoy socom and would love a new one that brings back my nostalgia but developers are to stupid to see easy money when they should be pros at getting a quick buck even with negative reviews. I honestly don't no who and what morons run the media and entertainment industry. They cancel shows people like then make a hundred more and cancel them and they make a hundred games to one that you actually play and don't leave on the mantle to collect dust. Just like a classic movie that is redone but falls short of its predsuccers glory.

Listen, I also have played this game since SOCOM 1 and everyone in between, and it's a slam dunk to bring those ole school maps and scenarios back. What I meant as to top sales is, concerning Socom Sales. It would put the Socom Community back to it's former status as the baddest military game out there. COD, BATTLE THAT and others still have not the following that SOCOM had. Those other games are just small carbon copies of SOCOM and little kids and random players like that. So what, the community that was built for the last Decade in Socom is unsurpassed. We need to push this into the SONY People who make the Big decisions and get it right again. That's my goal.

One important fact is original gameplay movement is a must. So rather than being misunderstood. If Sony is to build another socom. Go completely back to its roots seen with socom 1 and 2. Then completely modernize the game with new advancements. Secondly remember to cater to only one group which is the original fans of the game. We love socom as an adult game.

Great point, they must stick to the original SOCOM 1 gameplay and movement speed in any future SOCOM.   SOCOM 1 gameplay is the key.

Agree with some things you said EXCEPT
"Keep the new look going" I really hope you are not talking about the s4 look. If it had s4s graphics and animations it wouldn't break 500k.

"The Scopes, get the red dot out of the scopes" The red dot is fine, it's the ads system taken right out of popular fps games that really messed things up.

If they make a PERFECT socom it will sell around 2-2.5m. You couldn't expect the first real socom in 8 years to "top all game sales ever" lol.

If a socom is to succeed it has to cut all ties with socom4 and confrontation. Very few socomers will by a with run button, no ucrr, side switching, etc.

Cover system will miss everything up about Socom. If there should be a cover system have it as a customization part for creating your player. Have alot of different animation for it.. You want to be a sharpshooter have it were you shoot out of cover with precision. A safety player you only available to blindy shoot from cover. A tactical cover player you got they ability to roll, and dive from cover. A Marksmen you get no cover option but use good camouflage, ghullie suits, with an ability to use Night Vision, infrared scopes, and thermal scopes to your advantage. A toughness player you use no cover but is strong at melee fights and gets a bonus 5sec delay of losing health from a person in cover.. A Specialist only throw nades from cover but is unable to use cover for long. Then have the rest of the game while not involving cover 99% Classic Socom..

Ummm no, lol That's one of the worst ideas I ever heard anyone give for a new Socom game. It's another form of different classes and special abilities for them, the same crap we're trying to get away from with these COD like games with different perks and what not. Socom was about keeping people on an even playing field and letting their skill and teamwork determine the outcome. For someone who always mocks the fans of the first two games and claims he knows what makes a good Socom game you sure don't seem to have the same vision as 95% of the Socom community lol.
