Hey guys, been a SOCOMer since S1. Few different names. A while back i got frustrated with socom due to room freezers etc. Threw the game away deleted the data. Well after hours on battlefield and madden etc, i realized that socom is the best game STILL even in its terrible form. I rebought the game, went to download the game data, and it gets corrupted at 7%. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? i need a fix of socrack. I deleted all of the game data etc for it. How can i fix this?

ps - i really dont want to reformat the whole **bleep** thing because i have the entire battlefield 3 premium on hdd and that would be a pain in my **bleep** to download again. HELP!!!!

Is the disc in good condition? Oh and are we talking about Confrontation?

If you're talking about confrontation then try deleting the "game data utility" and redownloading / re-installing the game.  If you're talking about socom 4 then search on these forums and there are solutions to your problem, I THINK you have to install the game offline before you connect S4 online and download the OTHER update.. you have to do it in the right order or it doesn't work.  Look it up on here though.
