I have read the reviews and frankly some of them mystify me. They say things like one good thing about this game is the graphics. Right there I get steamed, don't even mention the graphics. The story is predictable and towards the end it becomes save the world. Gee, isn't that just like almost every other RPG out there? I guess if Grandia 3 is guilty of anything, it is sticking with what worked. That's the perception I get off it. Of course until I play I make no opinions on any of it. However:
I have played the previous games in the series so here is what I expected before I even read the reviews.
Linear- Grandia and Grandia 2 were both linear, no surprise there
Shorter Length- the first two games were straightforward and zipped along, no surprise there
Excellent Battle System - one reviewer said this game has the best battle system out there, I pretty much felt that way about Xtreme so if this one is improved, I was expecting that too
Anything beyond that will be icing on the cake. I am prepared for the flaws and awaiting the fun. Heck I'll probably be sold on the battle system alone, I was one of the few who enjoyed Grandia Xtreme and solely for it's fun battle system.

I have a question...is that game filled with religion, prayer, or things like that. I might actually get it, but, if it has those elements then I can't play it. As you all fully know.
