What is the chance they remake RE4 for the ps3? I dont have the backwards compatibility option, im not worried about it...but it would be cool if they did that. If they added all the trophy stuff.

You can play it on the PS3 if you got the good PS3 and you can play ps1 and ps2 games. I know the $700 PS3 you can cause I have it

They did remake it for the Wii. Nothing real special. Too bad the Wii sucks.

Nintendo has my money though. I bought a GameCube because of the first Resident Evil remakes. Then Nintendo took my money again for RE4, and Chronicles. At least there's another chronicles coming out. (sighs)

Oh yeah, i'm not saying anything bad about the remakes. They were all great. The crimson heads were awesome. I was just kind of saying that the Wii itself is boring. lol

yeah i know wat u mean the wii does suck i mean come on all u do is shake ur hand and ur automatically winning the game. thre was a chance for something awesome with the wii but it went downhill with the idea that gmae doesnt need a challenge curve thanks nintendo for making everyone and their grandma think they're gamers ( thankyou is meant as a form of sarcasm)

I was contemplating on purchasing a Nintendo Wii for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (Wii) as well as for a few other video games but it seemed like such a waste at the time to fork over $200+ for a video game console that I was only going to use for a couple of video games. I guess there is always backwards compatibility that could encourage me to purchase this video game console in the future (I have a lot of Nintendo Gamecube video games)... If a corporation wants my continued support (with respect to video game console purchases), backwards compatibility will be an issue...

With that being said, I doubt you will see a Resident Evil 4 (PS2) remake for the PlayStation 3, thebgj... I hear you can pick up a Sony PlayStation 2 for a very reasonable price these days (assuming your PS3 isn't compatible with RE4)...

Btw, you don't want a remake just so that you can collect trophies for RE4 do you thebgj?

The RE1 remake for Gamecube looked so f***** awesome. I hope they port that version over to the PS3 one day. I know the PS3 could handle the game just fine. A RE4 remake is not necessary. Just buy a freakin PS2!
