Resident Evil Series

I feel ready to jump in and play RE6, but if they are just going to release a complete version in a few months like they always seem to do, I can wait. I hate owning vanilla versions of games when a superior version exists.

Has anyone heard anything? Does RE6's dissapointing criticism mean they might avoid doing one?

It may happen possibly with new campaign featuring Claire Redfield including all DLC add-ons ( map packs a and b) multiplayer modes (Survivors, Predator, Outslaught, and Siege). That's all what I hear so far for now.

Because of all the DLC, I would say it is very possible.

But for the other games, they met or exceeded sales expectations. Since sales are really low, I would doubt they would want to even make anymore copies.

I bought Resident Evil 6 first day and also bought all the DLC. Most people already don't like it at all and the one's that do probably wouldn't really want to buy another copy.

Last note, Capcom already admitted that they made too many Resident Evil releases. So I doubt that they would run the risk of losing more money by making a 'Complete Edition' that might sell less than the original. So I wouldn't hold my breath.

If they were to make one, my guess would be when Resident Evil 7 shows up.

Thanks for posting the sources about the Claire dlc. I really hope it's not a rumor and that it will be co-op.
