I wasn't going to pick this up, but for $35...

Great deal that got me off the fence and on the checkout line.

If you have one of those Toys are Us rewards club (whatever they call it: the thing where you sign up with them and get some sort of bar code card you're supposed to show them when you shop there) and you go there today/Tuesday/launch day before 2pm, they'll give you a $25 gift card.

I wasn't sure about spending $60 on this title but $35 is reasonable.

If you're not a part of the TRU rewards card thing, you can sign up instantly on their web site and print up a temp card.

I'm pretty sure this deal ends at 2 so hurry.

This post convinced me to get the game at Toys r Us and I got the $25 gift card. I just wanted to say thanks for the info. Good game too. I'm loving the multiplayer.

yep...got that 25 buck gift card.....also had the 13 buck gift card from FF to use toward RD

what I realize though is now I have to buy another game at TRUS, so its not really getting 25 bucks off of RDR is like getting 12.50 off per game

Yea. Sorry I couldn't give more of a heads up but I didn't hear about it until the last min either. Glad some of you were able to take advantage.

You'd be surprised how often TRU has these deals. I got Batman AA (and another game last year) with the same deal.  It has been a year but I can always use a TRU gift card come xmas time.

Incidentally, I am enjoying the game, but I'm happy I got it for $35. I don't think I would be as happy with it if I paid 60.

I jumped on this deal myself but you can't redeem it for this game.  It is available for your next purchase so the post is a bit misleading.

Glad you got a good deal on the game, but Toys R Us sucks because they don't price match if you happened to buy something there that costs less somewhere else.

technically you still spent $60 :smileytongue:

the $25 gc was just a marketing strategy to help you make that decision

Well he spent $35 of his own; the rest was a gift
