Ratchet: Deadlocked

This is pretty much just spam but... I can't really think of any other game for Ratchet. Wait... here we go, a multiplayer game, no campaign, just a party game, like mario party. With guns and stuff. And all the characters from all the games, it's not much, but it's still a good idea. Right?

I just realized this thread existed. I guess that's what happens when you don't commute the Deadlocked section much.

What do I want?

Well, first of all, I want old school gameplay. I like the shooting aspect of the franchise, but when the whole game revolves around shooting, that tends to ruin the concept of the series being a platformer to begin with.

Secondly, I want online special pickups to roll over and die. As far as I'm concerned, special pickups ruined the online play of Deadlocked. Not that many people liked them.

And right off the back of my head, I want the voice actors to maintain their originality. Insomniac did a good thing when they kept James Arnold Taylor on top of everything. If they pull off another Laura Croft and give us someone entirely new for voice acting, I'm not going to be a happy camper.

Video Game movies tend to end up as trash. There are only a handful of exceptions such as Silent Hill but basically, any movie based on a game is tend to fail.

A film based on Ratchet & Clank wouldn't work and thus fail. Nothing within the series could make decent film material and would be extremely difficult to do so otherwise.

i guess but you know like um....they can make a cartoon or something on tv that will be cool wont it?

I'm not sure about a cartoon series although it could work as a mini-series. Maybe something put in with a Ratchet & Clank game.
