The humour is still typical Ratchet (In a good way), the environments look absolutely amazing and so does the overall look of the game. I've fallen in love with it.

Wrong. This early in, the Blu-Ray will most likely end up not being fully utilised as developers haven't even begun to tap in to the PS3's power yet either. The game would easily work on an Xbox 360 but the fact here is that it isn't appearing on that console regardless.
Bluray actually works as a disadvantage for games, as the drive reader is so slow. It doesn't matter how much data you can hold on a disk if it takes two minutes to access it.
Think about how much better Resistance would have been on a DVD... the PS3 has a 32x dvd reader. That would mean the Resistance would have loaded without a single load time, ever. The graphics would probably be virtually identical.
