Agree completely, 2012 is a different game. If you don't already have the download from PSS - do so. You'll go spend the $60 and get on board a very realistic sim.
While F1 2012 is a fun game, It's no where close to a real Sim.. It's Very Arcade, but still fun all the same..
It's only 720P graphics, so it's lacking the crisp details of 1080P Sims.
This to Brrnout,
This obviously coming from some1 that has no clue about 2011 to 2012. 2011 may as well have had pavement of glue. 2012 is a lot more realistic. Tires actually get flat spots, AI is competitive, and laps time are more realistic. 2012 is a whole different game than 2011. 2011 was great until 2012 game along to just make 2011 look bad. 2011 was, well, rather easy. Could beat AI on legendary by 3 to 5 seconds per lap. Not on 2012, I haven't even raced legendary yet, hard enough on professional, let alone the fact the AI will actually race you clean now instead of trying to drive through you. At the new track in Texas, I went through 3 corners side by side with AI with no contact. Can't say the same for 2011. 2011 they had their line, this year they hold the line given to them entering the corner. Also more strategy is required because park ferme rules exist now. Once you go out on track with a setup in qualify, your in that setup, only change you can make is the front wing angle. Sounds like the same game to me. pfffffffffft!
Well that is clearly your opinion. I personally think they are really similar and seriously does not warrent a full price tag.
