The Official NASCAR Thread 2006

392 replies 4 views Edited Feb 21, 2007
**Farewell Bobby Hamilton Sr. & Benny Parsons**

RVD7712 and myself really think this can work.  We will have one thread, and the thread will be updated each Monday to reflect the next race.  All we have to do is click on the last page number or the little >> to find the latest posts, just like we do with any popular thread.  This thread is the same as any other NASCAR thread, so discuss who you think will win, or who won't.

Have i mentioned how much i HATE commercials...i means, come on!  We're at Talladega!  Newly repaved, 5-wide racing...and they cut to commercial like 5 laps after the first one.

At least they gave us the first 5 minutes or so, maybe even 10 with no distractions.

Weber is such a tool...

Even with the smaller plate, they are still hitting 199!

I was checking PitCommand and the top speed according to it is 201.528!  And yeah, Weber...really the entire commentary crew, are tools.  Wally has driven recently, so at least he has a clue as to what he is talking about...the other guys...damn.  And i remember back when Burton was on the pole or something and BP was asking him a question while they were on the track, Burton said he was busy, and what does BP do?  He freaking asks the question again.  They all heard Burton say he was busy...:smileyindifferent:

That would be perfect, if you want, you can add it to this thread.  Let me know, because that would be a perfect addition.

Well...Gordon was taken out, so that pretty much wraps up the chase for him.  Seeing as how this is the first major wreck, he'll finish 30+ easily.
