POLL: Is normal driving tiring?

31 replies 1 views Edited Dec 10, 2006
I'm asking this question because every time I want to go somewhere, my parents say, "I'm too tired to take you" (I'm too young to drive) even if they got a full 8 hours of sleep. So, is normal (non racing) driving tiring to you? If so, why?

not really. i love driving. today i went to the store for a minute so i just parked blocking a driveway of that store (they dont use it, just for the fork lifts but they dont need to go on the street) an employee yelled at me to move it. i turned my wheels all the way to the left i barely touched the gas and i spun my left front tire, and i figured screw it, and i spun that tire for 20 seconds. i need to rotate them anyway:smileyvery-happy: when i was younger i always drove my bro and sis around, burning my dad's tyres:smileytongue:

What kind of car was it? So are my parents lying when they say driving is tiring?

I can't drive yet, but my parents never complain of being tired.

I don't think it's the driving that is tiring, but they're exhausted from other things. Either that or they just don't want to drive you places.

Parents - we have our ways, eh?

Driving is not tiring over the short distances that a parent would normally need to drive their children.
Something else is going on.

Cheers,
