Why? Because its chaotic. On the GT boards there are organized races and other events.
I had posted my comments and suggestions in the "sign up here for a NFS board" thread and NONE of my suggestions were taken. Apparently, NFS is what it is, an arcade racer for EA fanboys whom, for the most part, do not even realize they are being ripped off year after year with inferior games.
If you search all of the NFS threads over the last year with Most Wanted and Carbon, they are quite the same and equally without any substance warranting a dedicated forum. The mods were watching and reading and it was all just the same old crap. It goes with the territory though, it's not a serious game.
YOU guys had the chance to show why NFS should have a board and YOU guys failed to meet the lofty goals set before you. Nobody stepped up to bring some organization. So, there you have it. NFS does not deserve to have it's own board. There are already too many boards here that are full of chaos and redundant threads (not too mention "I pwned you" posts).
Carbon had potential to be a great game, but it is extremely short, from what the masses have been saying. Yep, you NFS fans got ripped of AGAIN!!! I'm sure EA appreciates the yearly donations.
The same holds true to their shabby NASCAR games. Many of us have gotten tired of being ripped off, so we stopped buying the games. Yes, with each approaching edition of EA's yearly NASCAR (shinny coaster) game, we hope they will get it right and fix the bullspit from the previous years pile of poop, but NO they fail! Year after year, they FAIL!
Could you imagine what NFL 2K7 would be like on the PS3 if there were fair competition? Or if EA did not have a stranglehold on the NASCAR license? The gaming world would be a better place if we were not plagued by the greed of Electronic Arts. And to think of it, they used to OWN sports games by being "the best". Now they "own" sports games by "owning" them.
FRACK YOU EA!
