The ship is looks "deserted". What people are you referring to? What kind of a bomb is strong enough to take out a ship-or do I have the wrong ship? The ship I'm referring to has: LES CARGO-LIBERTY CITY, writen on the side. Thanks
When you get to the shipyard there is a blue space to park your car to progress to the next part of the mission. A small cutscene between you and Eightball ensues and he tells you he will plant the bomb after hearing the first shot. At that time you will see the boat which is swarming with Cartel members. That is your cue to go up the stairs and on to the roof to sniper them.
Are you sure you have eightball with you? Do you have the Sniper Rifle that he gave you? You'll only get these if you go see 8-ball with 500k i think it was. Then you have to drive hm to the shipyard. If you don't do that there won't be anyone on the boat.
Thanks for all the help so far. I got as far as being told to take out the cartel's factory (ship), but when I arrived at 8 ball's place, I drove in to the garage and was loaded with a ignition bomb. I thought-"What the heck good is that thing going to do. I guess that using "too many" cheats changes the game, that's the only explanation I came up with that makes any sense-???????????
Thanks for all your help! I'll give that a try. I was beginning to think that it was because I used a cheat to get over to Staunton Island, (used the "flying tank" cheat)- works great. I'll tell you what happens with your tip later, I have to do some last minute X-mas shopping now. Thanks again
I returned to 8 Ball, and sure enough, the blue light was to the right. Thank you for your kind reply and assistance. I don't mean to preach, but when I asked a few questions on the action/adventure segment of this web site, I was greeted with-"cross the bridge-Duh!" etc-etc. Sometimes I'm just a little worried when I hear phrases like-"I can kill pigs & beat the h--l out of the hoes. Makes me wonder who's out there playing this game. I only hope that they know it is just that-A GAME, and that they are old enough to distinguish the difference. Sorry for preaching, but thanks again for all your help. Have a great holiday!!
