be prepared for cars skipping all over the screen, i'd be beyond impressed if the first online race i do with a full grid has no lag or framerate problems off the start.

cant wait for online impressions.

They don't skip around on the Ps2, so I'd expect no issues regarding lag

Controllers

Oct 18, 2006
Hey, what controllers do you guys use?  I've got a killer setup that I used to use on my PC (now on my Mac).  It's a classic Logitech Momo wired to TSW2 pedals.  It's USB so I'm assuming it will work with the PS3.  Fingers crossed

Here's a pic I snapped last night.

As far as something to connect it to, I've been slobbering over the new seat from playseats.com would this be SWEET or what?!

I'll post mine later, and although the Logi DFPro USB wheel made for PS2 works on PC , I'm not sure if USB PC works on PS2 .

That'll work!  Nice wheel   How nice would that racing seat be though, eh?!  Let's see... 349,00 Euro converts to only US $436.  Yikes!  What title is that you're racing?  Looks like a cartoon compared to what we'll see shortly!  Check out the difference!  So, what - 30 days and counting?  Bring on the PS3 baby

that's F1 '06 on PS2 ... yes, it looks like a cartoon compared to PS3 !!!
I have a second wheel / seat / pedal setup that goes right next to me on that table for split screen racing w/ a friend

I forgot my PSP setup, in case we need that for a rear mirror ..... I doubt we'll need it based on the videos lately, all show working mirrors, but this will be better in Tcam view, where the mirrors woulb be very small compared to c0ckpit view

custom PSP mount
